Carol Poole Spirit of 26 Award

Alberta Northern Lights Chorus has chosen Tina Aseltine as our Carol Poole Spirit of 26 nominee for 2023. Tina is a charter member of our chorus and has been active in the leadership of the chorus since the beginning. After nearly 20 years, Tina is still very active as a musical and administrative leader in our chorus.

Tina is currently our Finance Coordinator and Choreographer. She is also instrumental in the creative process for our shows and performances. Throughout our two years of Covid Zoom rehearsals, Tina was a driving force in keeping the chorus motivated. Her endless creativity and positive attitude helped the chorus through this very challenging time.

Since returning to in-person rehearsals, Tina has continued to motivate and bring her infectious joy and humour to every rehearsal. Tina can always be counted on to lend a hand or take on a task with enthusiasm and ingenuity, often volunteering before being asked. We appreciate Tina greatly and are very fortunate to have her as a member of Alberta Northern Lights Chorus!
