Congratulations to our 2024 Carol Poole Spirit of 26 Award Nominee!

Alberta Northern Lights Chorus is thrilled to announce Sandee Blackburn as our Carol Poole Spirit of 26 nominee for 2024.

Sandee embodies the Spirit of 26 every week and proudly exemplifies the best of Sweet Adelines. Sandee brings cheerful energy and tireless commitment to all her roles within the organization. This includes being on the music team as our lead section leader, on the management team as our Events Coordinator, and as a beautiful lead singer in both the chorus and in her quartet Chance!

Sandee's happy positive attitude is always forefront whenever anyone needs extra help or just a shoulder to lean on. Her positive energy and zest for life is contagious and her smile just lights up the room. She always goes above and beyond to bring fun and new ideas to motivate the chorus.

She is truly a gem and Alberta Northern Lights Chorus is lucky to have her!
